A reflective piece I wrote after encountering some of the surprising themes in EarthBound. Please forgive my license with the end of the game- it made everything fit so much better. I wrote a dramatic retelling of the Onett portion of the EarthBound story and it is not good and it is too long and I feel it has too much dialogue and I feel the atmosphere is too thin and Ness is too violent but I submitted it anyway because blah. I wrote it in two hours and didn't edit. Next one will be better, promise <333 Rocks will be chucked. This is a little short, but you know what happened next. A Flash-Fiction (275 words) I wrote about the madness of Captain Strong. It took all my effort not to have him chant "Essence of Purity, Purity of Essence, Essence of Purity" Chapters match each particular GPP and are found in the corresponding topic--Chapter 1 can be found in the topic for GPP 1, Chapter 2 can be found in the topic for GPP 2, etc. There are references to all three Mother games within the text. Try to find them all. I hope this works because I have no idea how to upload this. Before checking behind the counter, Ness decides to have a couple drinks... (I guess this should've been named Jackie's Bar, huh?) My well-woven lyrics into this poem of epical proportions, will leave you clapping on the end. (No crying until the end, please.) (And I really squeezed out a lot into just 4-6 pages.) I just threw this together in 5 mins, and I'm rebelling againist everything I usually prepare. WORDS Ness exposits to great detail on his experiences fighting what could best be described as a "Pile". I wrote this after I heard about the funfest, but before I even knew about the different themes, hahah :( but it does end with anecdotes in the Lost Underworld and Fire Spring and I think everything before that adds a certain sense of perspective...
