In the autumn of 2023, the Dwarf Fortress Expedition Leader's Journal was created at Fangamer in cooperation with Bay 12 Games by the human Kari Fry.

This is a (faux) mica-bound codex. It menaces with spikes of silver foil. The printed portion consists of a 5.5 x 8.5 inch 128-page journal, full of layouts and templates that allow even a Dabbling Record Keeper to easily keep track of all aspects of a fortress and its people with the highest precision. Its grid-lined pages aid in map drawing and architectural planning.

It concerns the organization and chronicling of a healthy fortress and Dwarven civilization.

Overall, the journal ensures that your fortresses will be clearly laid out and your trials and exploits will be well documented.

So so pretty, like the gem.
I love this book as it has inspired a great many things in my fortress design, but I have a confession. I cannot write in this book for it is too beautiful. Will there ever be a pdf I can download, thus I can print out pages for use? This book is precious to me and I dare not stain it with ink.
