Ooblets for Nintendo Switch™

If you like Animal Crossing/Stardew Valley/Harvest Moon/Story of Season, you might find this game is right up your alley! Even if you’re not familiar with those games this game could be a great introduction to life-simulation games as it’s very non-punishing. You don’t need to plan out every day perfectly and since months and seasons aren’t a factor you can jump in and out whenever it suits you without it being stressful. The humor is great by the way and the creatures are all very cute and customizable! Your character also has a fair amount of customization options and you can decorate your own house and shop if you’d like. The game has card-based dance battles (think like Pokémon but the TCG) but they’re very easy to understand. The dev’s have added a fair bit of content since the game came out including seasonal events for fall and winter, I’ve had a ton of fun with it so far (around 150 hours) and am having as much fun or more than when I started. I’m really hoping a vinyl comes out someday as the music is amazing!

Ooblets is one of my new favorite games. It doesn’t have the best graphics, but what it does have is loveable characters (my fave is mayor tintsle), funny moments, and a great story! If I were to say what games it is most similar to, if say, Pokémon, Animal Crossing, and Stardew Valley. All in all, it is a great experience!
