Well done product, but a few EXTREMELY glaring issues
I have received and finally finished assembling this product, and there are a few choice words I have for it. The completed model is very well done design-wise, and stays very true to the actual model of the lander in game. I have no complaints about the accuracy of the model. The item not having an associated paint-kit sucks a lot. I was able to get paints on my own, but it would have been a lot more convenient to have an associated paint-kit made for the lander. I understand that this isn't too plausible, so I'm not too hung up on it. The actual assembly is where issues spark up. Firstly, the assembly instructions have more than one typo; both regarding the label of specific parts. Luckily, these parts are very recognizable and the label is not needed to tell them apart, but it is still work speaking about. If these typos occured with some of the very similar parts used for smaller details, I could see them actually affecting some people's assembly experience. Finally, my biggest annoyance. Sprue G is a very flexible sprue that holds all of the outside straps and piping that the model has; things like connecting the gas to the thrusters and stuff like that. These items are very hard to glue on to the model, but with persistence, you can at least make it stay in one spot. My biggest gripe is that some of the parts in Sprue G do not fit. There are multiple parts that are just too short to be able to glue onto where they are supposed to go. I got very upset when I realized two of the straps meant to go over two gas tanks and glue to the back of the ship were half an inch too short. I have not painted the model yet, but I do not think there will be too many issues. I foresee the piping and straps from Sprue G will cause more issues, and that the finer details might suck a bit, but that will just be my own fault. Ultimately, this item is a very well done collecters item that has a few very glaring issues. The parts that are too small to fit on the model can very easily be left out, and the model looks perfectly fine. I do recommend this product, but only if the issues that I talked about do not bother you that much.
