very disappointing
I got two of the exact same pin of some game I have no clue is, I was at least was expecting variety. Awful purchase 👎

Do not buy, you will only receive undesireable pins
Based on recent reviews, along with the few times I've ordered these, a majority of the pins are going to be the same. You're extremely likely to get Homestar Runner or Myst pins. The only time I haven't gotten Homestar Runner or Myst was a set of Hollow Knight pins: which another reviewer seems to have gotten as well! It feels extremely dishonest to label them as mystery pins when they're obviously just pins that they have a hard time selling.
Do not be fooled, these pins are hardly random and your chances of getting newer / more popular pins are close to zero.

Sorry to hear you weren't happy with what you got! We set a per-order limit on these in part so people will be less likely to get duplicates. If you buy a lot of mystery pins within a few months, our stock probably won't have changed much.Verified Buyer

Amazing
I bought 2 of the mystery pins and got 7 in total the bug heads series 2 and homestar runner series 1 and while I’m not a fan of home star runner the hollow knight make up for it in spades

A collector's dream.
I've recently begun collecting pins, so I was very pleased when I got two entire pin sets for the best value. Would definitely recommend this to anyone remotely interested in pin collecting.

Grab bag item; not a loser but not a winner either...
The pins appear to be in perfect condition.
With about 50% of the pins on the store being something that I really enjoy, I figured that I had a pretty good chance of getting something I'd love if I got 2 of them (in the past other shoppers have obtained stuff I really liked this way), and it would still be at less than the price of getting it new, but unfortunately, I wasn't lucky. (at least, in terms of getting something I'd immediately love, by chance)
Oh, well, that's how it goes sometimes.
It does say "feel free to tell us in the comments which games you like" so maybe that would have influenced things if I had done that, but I don't know.
I did get some Hollow Knight pins at least, which is a really popular game that I'm not interested in yet.
I feel like I should like Hollow Knight but I'm not there yet.
That's just kind of the nature of it being a mystery item.
