Zote Mini Figurine

Oh! Who’s that majestic, stoical figure approaching from over the horizon? A knight approaches... Ah! Thank the Pale King! Our true bug hero has returned when we needed him most! All hail Zote the MINI! Yes, mini — but still incredibly mighty and majestic, this adorable tiny grouch! I just love his face - his perpetually scowling, endearing lil’ GrumpyCat face that absolutely deserves kisses. Awww... Zote is among my top-three favourite HK characters along with Grimm and Quirrel, so I was absolutely delighted to see that this grumpy little beetle knight (of great renown!), the Legendary Grey Prince, got his own official mini-figure! Thank you very much for including Zote the Mighty in this collection, Colvin Collectibles & Fangamer! He deserves it! A legend, this fellow! I absolutely love him! Zote’s mini figure design by Colvin Collectibles is pretty accurate, and like the others, he’s much bigger than I expected for the price! Sturdy, smooth resin, no paint or glue flaws, accurate colours and shapes, lovely details, and nice display box and stand. He’s got his trusty shell-wood nail “Life Ender” sheathed on his back too. His trademark manly scowl is a bit more emphasized than it is in-game, his mouth more distinctly trapezoid in shape. I love Zote dearly, so I know my Grey Prince. But this isn’t an issue at all - it seems to be an artistic choice, and it just makes him even more adorable in my eyes! (His particularly crabby expression here immediately reminded me of Ebenezer Scrooge’s CGI depiction from the 2009 “A Christmas Carol” film, which I consider a masterpiece - so, I plan on placing this glowering little Zote on display among my Christmas decorations because of this! Perhaps the Little “Ghost” Knight of Hallownest Past will visit him? Haha!) He’s a great size for the price, as I mentioned (added a pic of him beside a standard coffee mug for comparison). I also have a very professionally fan-made larger Zote resin statue - had him for about a year, so I had to compare them as well. The fan-made Zote is definitely more realistic in his design and proportions all-over (I’m hoping Colvin Collectibles makes a larger official Zote statue that is more realistic and accurate in design to in-game Zote) - but each Zote figure is great in his own way. Very pleased with Zote the Mini! He’s a wonderful piece that I’m elated to add to my HK figure collection. He makes me smile! Yes, I am a major Zote fangirl - step aside, Bretta the beetle! Or perhaps she and I can found a Grey Prince Zote fan-club together! Hehe... :) (Oh, and, again - PLEASE make an official Grimm figure/statue!)
