Hornet Resin Statue

Beautiful and well-sculpted figure, but absolutely fragile. Kept it in box for about a year and when i finally unboxed it, the top half fell off IMMEDIATELY. There was a visible glob of resin around the break site. Doesn't seem like it held? Paint was even chipped on the needle! Super expensive for a product that breaks so easily.

First off, the arms are VERY difficult to attach. It requires a lot of pressure for them to snap in place. Speaking of snap, Other reviews mention the statue is FRAGILE, breaking during the shipment process. I was fortunate enough for my Hornet statue arrive safely, and this website will help you if yours is busted.

I'll admit, when I read the reviews I was hesitant to purchase. Historically this product ships poorly and is renowned for being fragile. Not to mention I live in Australia which is far away from everything. Luckily, aside from some minor paint defects, Hornet arrived in perfect condition! Yes the arms were an absolute dog to attach, but with some patience and and unreasonable amount of strength they locked in with a satisfying "click". In terms of shipping, you guys need to do MUCH better with the packaging. The 5mm thick foam.edges you put in are almost worthless. You got super lucky this time!

Would be the perfect statue if the arms weren’t such a pain in the ass to attach. Instead of the knight where the nail just slides in very easily, you have to push her arms in as hard as you possibly can and just hope they stay. It’s only one problem but it’s a huge one. Other than that though I absolutely love it.

Really neat statue and looks great displayed on the shelf. Looking at other reviews it appears I got off easy, with only the very tip of her needle having been bent somehow. It was packaged well so probably a product error and not a delivery one. Also had a hard time getting the needle bit connected to the main statue because I was afraid of how fragile it was. It’s on there now but I’m not sure it will be after a loud sneeze!
