Fangamer Podcast #36 – Gaming Firsts with co-hosts from 2 Player Productions

This week we bring you a special show, one I would dare to say is an “exclusive” interview with 2 Player Productions, makers of Penny Arcade TV and the Reformat the Planet documentary! We ask them the hard hitting questions like who their favorite chip tune artist is, what it was like working the the Penny Arcade staff, and even what their favorite FILM is! Despite our 20/20 style interviewing tactics they stick around to co-host the show feature on “Gaming Firsts” where we learn that 3rd Party peripherals really suck and I have some serious rage issues as a child.

Fangamer Podcast #35 – Convention Tips and Tricks

Unless you’ve been living under some sort of Bose brand Noise Canceling Rock, you’ve probably heard that Pax Prime is about 10 days away. This is a big deal in and of itself, made bigger by the fact that we at Fangamer will be there. With this in mind, we noble Podcasters decided to dedicate a delectable new download (that’s an episode, but it begins with D) of our podcast to celebrating conventions of all shapes and sizes. We discuss hydration, hygiene, and the basic human etiquette required to make contact with your favorite L-C-D-list celebrities. That’s a joke, of course, the list of celebrities doesn’t go past regular D. Nevertheless, listening to our podcast will no doubt guarantee you some of the freshest insider information on the fast, fabulous world of video game conventions, and you would be remiss to miss it.

Fangamer Podcast #34 – TV Shows

We take a break this week from Video Games and base our show topic on TV shows we use to watch as kids. Ben joins us for the cast and helps remind me that the “nick at nite for kids but not with black and white tv shows” was actually called Snick! We also talk at length about the new Scott Pilgrim Vs the World video game and some Plants Vs. Zombies for iPad and give our thoughts on these “new” games. PAX Prime quickly approaches, we go over the panel list and what we want to see at the show as well as the Reformat the Planet release.
