Season 3 of Game Club starts today! We are going with a shorter game as a pallet cleanser between big seasons and have gone with Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. The voting was close and one day I’m hoping we play game I’ve actually played before. Join the discussion as we play through half the game this week and finish it off the following week in our community forum thread.

This week’s Game Club was “bro heavy” a term I deemed when the testostorone levels of the podcast exceed 50%. With Liz watching the live Conan O’Brien show I recruited friend of the podcast Ben “DJ Katon” as our 4th chair to discuss playing through the last temple in Majora’s Mask bringing the bro count to 3. Next week we finish Majora’s mask and discuss the ending and all the fun side quests we finished up. Join us for the final discussion as we are hoping to have another special guest so be sure to tune in.
We also have our poll for the next Game Club game, so please vote on what you’d like to play. As you can see from the choices we are mixing it up this time and are shooting for a 2 week game in genere well away from the 3d adventure game.
