This weeks episode of the Fangamer Podcast was a round table discussion on Art and Video games. Guest starring on the podcast voicing their opinions on the subject was Ann K who demonstrated live to our ustream audience the making of ART and Marty (Omnitarian) who you may know from a few awesome shirts and posters he’s produced with Fangamer or on his own.
Next weeks show will be a special event as the majority of the Fangamer crew will be together for a live recording discussing our trip to Portland Oregon.

On this episode Liz, Gerritt, Krystle, and Ben from Radio-PSI join our live ustream audience to discuss the 6th through the 11th Colossi fights from Shadow of the Colossus. I’m starting to enjoy the game more while other’s… not so much. Hear about how I’ve become attached to the horse and how every Colossi bends over backwards for Ben to slaughter them.

Just in time for our 2nd live recording on ustream today at 8:30 PM EST/5:30 PM PST our episode from last week is ready for your consumption.
Game Club is my pet fangamer project, just like google has their 20% side projects I’ve always had a large pile of video games I wanted to play but either never finished or never even opened. In an effort to get through my pile of shame games and increase Fangamer’s Gamer Street Credit, I put this podcast together with our main podcast co-pilot Liz. Our hope is that Game Club brings together the community through including gaming in your life on a short daily basis, and to engage us to think more deeply about that experience by sharing it with each other. Our plan is to put up a poll of 4 or 5 games for the community to vote on after this series concludes, and whichever game gets the most votes, we play that game in small chunks over the next 3 or 4 weeks and meet on ustream once a week to discuss together how the experience has been and ponder some of the deeper meaning to gaming.
In this first episode of our Shadow of the Colossus play through, we recruited co-hosts from the community to help kick things off as we defeated the first 5 Colossi. Ben from Radio-PSI and previous episodes of the Fangamer Podcast brings an enthusiastic look at his first play through of the game, while our buddy from PAX East and many forum threads Krystle brings her SotC master skills to the cast.

On this week’s Fangamer podcast, we take a moment to relax and enjoy the lighter side of life, with a laid back discussion of the things that we’re fans of. As usual, forum participation was strong, and we got a lot of great feedback from the audience. Our returning guest host is Casey Toner, and this week we also feature the stylin’ mash ups of Bill Eager. Overall, a sumptuous delight for the ears.
