can u feel it comin!
(Steve edited this video together in, like, an hour. For the record, we were actually playing the music here in the office — no video magic or anything, that take just turned out perfectly.)
We got the PK Yomega proof in the mail today, it’s freaking great. I haven’t played with a (decent) yo-yo in years, so it’s a blast to let this thing sleep, which it does quite nicely! I’ve gotten it to roll for more than 20 seconds with no problems.
Anyway, the yo-yo’s are still on track to ship in early December. It’s gonna rock. If you don’t want to buy an entire Awesomeness pack to get one, you can wait and we’ll sell them separately for $17.
I was very much PK ROCKED by this video! It’s so perfect.
That was amazing video! I love when stuff like that happens! I can’t wait to get mine in the mail1 ^_^!
Hi Reid, I’ve been a Starmen.net fan since You Are Now Earthbound, and have been impressed with the recent business venture. The Mother 3 Handbook is a fantastic product; I was amazed by the quality and the work that went into it.
I had a quick question about your business. I know that the SM.net community has incredible talent, but of course you can’t just take all of the awesome art/etc done and sell it for a product; those things can get dicey. Did you compensate all of the people who worked on the guide (like Emilio)? Are they employees? I saw that fangamers owns the copyright (as opposed to a Creative Commons license), so I was curious.

(Sorry if this isn’t the best place to contact you; I’ll keep looking around but it’s the best I could find)
Yup, the guide was 100% from-scratch; we hand-picked everyone involved with it at the outset. The proceeds from the book were divided up by hours devoted to the project, though not everyone who worked on it is necessarily an employee.
