As a longtime Earthbound fan, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to you guys for taking such an amazing, proactive interest in something that is near and dear to my heart. I’m sure the handbook will absolutely rock, and so to do you all.
I received my handbook today. Despite the emasculating nature of admitting this, it brought a tear to my eye. It’s quite possibly the most incredible fan creation I’ve ever seen! (Aside from the fan translation of MOTHER 3 itself, of course!) I can’t even describe how beautiful it is. The pictures on your site do not do it justice; it has to be held in the hands. The art, the writing, the clay models, the quality of the product, everything down to the packaging… it’s love. Seriously. I showed it to a buddy of mine, who’s not much of a gamer, or a fan of RPGs, and his first words were, “So where can I download Mother 3?”
I can’t stop looking at it. I can’t stop gushing over it. I can’t stop thinking of new ways to express my appreciation. I can’t stop saying “I can’t stop.” It transcends the level of fanmade. It’s hands down better than any “professional” game guide I’ve ever seen. You just don’t get this level of care and detail when “cashing in” is the first priority. I wish everything I spent my money on felt this loved, this cared for. Spending would be a much less cynical and selfish pursuit if craftsmanship mattered in every product as much as it mattered in the Mother 3 handbook. You guys could’ve made a fun online website, or a downloadable PDF, but instead you made a work of art that succeeds on so many levels that unabashed hyperbole is about the only way I can approach the level of appreciation you all deserve.
I hope people in high places in the gaming industry get a good, long look at your masterpiece. It’s every bit as good as the game itself. If only there were more games worthy of the dedication that went into the MOTHER 3 Handbook!

I had completely forgot that these were supposed to be shipped this week and got it in the mail today. To my surprise, I opened up the package and discovered an amazing piece of work done by dedicated fans! The keychain is awesome and I will cherish the little personal hand-drawn picture. The book is so professionally done, my hats go off to you for giving me all of this wonderful Mother joy for 20 bucks. This was my first purchase from Fangamer, and will certainly not be my last. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK!

Should I have received a tracking number in my email?
Sweet, it’s spannoft! Due to the fact that the standard first-class international mail does not provide a tracking number, and the Shopify API does not email unless a tracking number is present, most international shipments (including Canada) never got a email. Sorry, during the rush to get things out, something had to break. If you’re still unsure if your package got sent, send an email with your order id number to orders (ATTT) fangamer (DOOTTT) com.
Ok, no problem. I was kind of thinking it may have been something like that. Just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss something somewhere.
I think Brent has summed it up in a fashion that I cannot exceed. I too totally forgot it had shipped and came home going “Why do I have a package?” until I noticed the logo on the shipping label and proceeded to hurl myself into the house screaming like a maniac…much to the confusion of others.
I agree that this is the most professional looking manual – nay, one of the most professional looking books PERIOD I have ever set eyes on. The clay models and art is beautiful, and I was floored by the typography and page layout. It really is a sight to behold.
I also adore my little hand drawn picture – I got one of the arrow lizard.
The extra goodies were awesome as well…already slapped my sticker next to the rest on my car and I am ADORING the Courage Badge. Exquisitely made…it is going on my purse ASAP.
The quality of this has definitely encouraged me to start to consider what other Fangamer products I wish to invest my monetary units in.

Got my book today, and agree it’s absolutely INSANE. I regularly buy the “pro” guides, and can honestly say none have ever impressed me so much off the bat.
One question: how limited are these? Will you do another printing after the first batch runs out?
