Introducing Fanshots!

If you notice, the Fangamer Store is missing something… special. All of our new merchandise are missing action shots. While pictures of our 2008 male model of the year are awesome, Reid just doesn’t have enough time to pack all of your orders AND model for them. But Fangamer is more than just us looking goofy wearing hoodies in Arizona, it’s about you doing goofy things too! So we are going to put your pictures up on the store!

All you have to do is take a picture of yourself wearing one of our shirts and merch and send it to the email address below. However, we’re only going to accept the most awesome of pictures, so follow this list of pro-tips:

  • Shower and shave before modeling. If I can smell you over the internet, you are doing something very, very wrong.
  • Go outside to pretty locations. Don’t take a lowlight picture of yourself in your room.
  • Don’t add anything to your picture, it’s beautiful as it is. You’re more than free to do some touch ups, but don’t insert copyrighted elements like sprites or logos.
  • Don’t have any copyrighted items or logos, because you’re showing off our merch, not their merch!
  • Make sure we can clearly see the item. It’s no use putting a picture up where you can’t even see what’s on it!
  • Have fun and smile!

If we accept your picture, you’ll get the Fanshots Badge!  It’s a very pretty red! There is no deadline, it’s an ongoing project. We need pictures for our new merch when they come up. If you have any questions, feel free to send a PM to ROFISH. Send your pictures to:

Maybe Ill give this a shot? :D

Hm, this seems to be geared more towards apparel than anything else…
Are pictures for items such as the mug and the handbook (when it ships) needed/would they be accepted?

  3. 3 Sparn

I… Might consider looking into this eventually, since there’s no deadline. Though if I do do it, I’ll probably request to not get a badge.

@Qaz: While yes, this is mostly geared towards the shirts, if you can get an awesome action shot of other stuff, then go for it!

  5. 5 TruTruSky

I should do this with the ISNP shirt once I get it.

  6. 6 GameGeekAdvanced

Sounds cool, I’ll give it a shot.

Looks like its time to hit up my photographer friends!

  8. 8 KingSpore

Maybe I will try an action shot with the handbook when I get it. :O

How do we take snaps of pins? Do we wear them on a hat and show them off?

I’ll be sure to do this. I’ll wear ISNP at a shopping centre and Chronometre near a large clock, or something.

fffff now I need to find the cable to my camera so I can snap my I (..) NP shirt when I get it. xD

Sent some pictures of me modelling in the I (oo) NP shirt and snow wood hoody! =D

This is an awesome idea. X3

I’ve been impressed with the FanGamer forum used at Starmen.net since I saw it first used– it’s clean, effective, SEO-friendly, and it looks powerful.

I’m not sure what to say– but I figure that if the rest of your CMS work comes out as pretty, I know that you guys do have a winner on your hands.

The question is– what do you do after THAT? 8)

I’m young. Can I still particapate? Oh wait a second I wouldn’t be able to get the badge then. XD

Irrelevant to the post, but I couldn’t find any places to comment about the service of Fangamer.

I just wanted to say that I ordered 4 shirts from Threadless and 2 shirts from Fangamer. They both came in on the same day but I gotta say I completely ignored the Threadless shirts because of the little extra things you guys did with my Fangamer order. The extra pins and stickers were cool but I was so impressed with the hand drawn receipt!

So thanks for the awesome products and service! I pre-ordered the guide last night and definitely going to order some more shirts! Keep up with the amazing work!
