Fangamer MEGA PODCAST Q AND A!

Fangamer’s adorable little sister site, Starmen.net, has been known throughout the ages for its annual summer convention, in which dozens of goofy dorks (that’s us!) hold a big old fashioned hootenanny somewhere in the continental United States. This year is the biggest yet, with a whopping 50+ people packing their iMacs up in their Conestoga iWagons to make the trek! In celebration of this monumental occasion, we’re doing a MEGA Q AND A podcast, in which you can ask any questions you want of the staffs of Starmen.net, Radio PSI, and of course, Fangamer.

You can ask questions through the blog, on Twitter, on Facebook, or the Fangamer forums; no matter where they come from, we’ll be sure to get them answered. Questions for both individuals and entire groups are encouraged, and the goofier the question, the more we welcome it. Think of it like Officecam Q and A, but with almost half a gross of people! You know, because people are often measured like eggs.

Anyway, you should definitely ask us questions here, and if you want to see sample questions, check out the forum thread on Fangamer’s forums for some exotic examples!

Fangamer Podcast #31 – Evolution of Gaming News

We get in the “Way Back Machine” for this episode and recall a day when we read our gaming magazine primarily from AOL Keyword NINTENDO, print magazines like Nintendo Power, and when we leveled up to “tween/adult” magazines like EGM/Game Pro and the birth of internet gaming news from our favorite sites like 1up. Our buddy Dan Moore joins us again and reminds us how awesomely bad the Nintendo Power VHS promotions were. Also I got to use music from one of my favorite ways I got video game news during my college years, the 1up show, still one of the best video game “shows” with a great crew of bros.

Fangamer Podcast #30 – Your Favorite Video Game Villains

This week my brother Phillip who I’ve mentioned on previous casts guest stars during our discussion of “Who’s your favorite video game villain and why?” The forum topic brought up some interesting bad guys and brought up philosophical questions relating to the nature of good and evil and of course… pokemon. We also talk in-depth about the recent CT Fanfest Pre-order merchandise and even cover some basic video game news stories in the intro.

Visit the Fangamer booth at PAX Prime in Seattle!

Visit the Fangamer whiteboard sketch booth at PAX Prime

This upcoming September 3rd – 5th, Fangamer will rock Seattle with our whiteboard sketch booth at PAX Prime. In the Expo Hall, along with the giant luminaries of industry, Fangamer will bring the booth introduced at PAX East to the West Coast with the same amazing staff. Marvel at Camille’s figurines, both those made for the Mother 3 Handbook and Officecam’s Camille Art Fridays, draw on our booth (or when we run out of space, on our booth dudes), and discuss art/websites/life with Reid, Camille, Jon, Ryan, Steve, Kevin, Brian, Liz, Gerritt, and Charlie who will be available all throughout PAX. Oh, and we will be selling our merch there too.

For those of you who wish to attend, you better get tickets NOW! PAX is running dangerously low on three-day tickets, hotels in the area are filling up, and airlines are wising up leading to expensive fares. We would love to see you there, as PAX is a complete blast with playable pre-release game demos and speaking events from industry giants throughout the entire three days. If we haven’t convinced you yet, check out our pictures of PAX East below:

CT Fanfest Preorders!

Fangamer's Chrono Trigger Fanfest Combo Pack!

After months of painstaking design and planning, we are proud to announce our first Fanfest Combo Pack (which also comes in a womens variety as well)!

If you’ve gotta have it all, we’ve thrown together a CT Fanfest 2010 Combo Pack which not only nets you 12% off, but also a free Nuisance pin!

Also, we want to draw attention to the fact that Avarus is the first preorder campaign we’ve ever held for any handmade item, much less one of Camille‘s figurines. They generally sell out in a matter of hours, so this is your chance to get one without racing against the clock!
